Our Mission

Seva means selfless service — it's the reason we started, and the reason we're still here.

The Seva Collective began in April 2020 when our community was moved by the pandemic to act. Our first food distribution at the Sikh Center of Orange County drew hundreds of families — and showed us the true depth of food insecurity here at home. Today, in partnership with Santa Ana Unified School District, we hold twice-monthly distributions, two Holiday Gift Drives, and an annual Back-to-School Backpack Drive.

"In the spirit of Langar, we believe everyone deserves a meal — regardless of background or belief."

What started as a single grocery distribution in a parking lot has grown into a movement rooted in four values: Sarbat da Bhalla (the wellbeing of all), Chardi Kala (eternal optimism), Selfless Service, and Diversity and Inclusion.
